CornerSense ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the CornerSense mobile application (the "App").
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal information to provide you with a personalized experience. During the onboarding process, we may ask you to provide:
- Name โ Used only to personalize your in-app experience (e.g., greeting you by name).
- Gender โ Used to tailor default training recommendations.
- Training goals โ Used to suggest appropriate workout profiles and settings.
Your onboarding responses are stored on our servers. All other data is stored only on your device, as described below.
2. How Your Data Is Stored
Data stored on our servers: Your onboarding responses (name, gender, training goals) are transmitted and stored on our servers to provide you with a personalized experience. This is the only data we store remotely.
Data stored locally on your device: Everything else is stored solely on your device and never transmitted to our servers. This includes:
- Workout profiles and timer configurations
- Session history and training statistics
- Notes and personal records
- App preferences and settings
3. Data We Do Not Collect
We want to be clear about what we do not do:
- We do not store workout data, session history, notes, or preferences on our servers โ only your onboarding responses.
- We do not sell, share, or distribute your personal information to any third parties.
- We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.
- We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, or any other device data beyond what is described above.
4. In-App Purchases
CornerSense may offer in-app purchases or subscriptions through Apple's App Store and Google Play. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple and Google. Subscription management is facilitated by RevenueCat (see Third-Party Services). We do not collect, process, or store any payment information, billing details, or financial data.
5. Data Deletion
You have control over your information:
- Local data: You can delete individual session records, profiles, or notes directly within the App. Deleting the App from your device will permanently remove all locally stored data.
- Onboarding data: To request deletion of your onboarding responses from our servers, please contact us at cornersensesupport@gmail.com. We will process your request promptly.
6. Notifications
CornerSense may send local notifications (such as training reminders) if you enable them. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external servers or services.
7. Children's Privacy
CornerSense is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
8. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect information:
- RevenueCat โ Purpose: Subscription and payment processing. Data shared: User identifier, purchase information, subscription status. Privacy policy
- Firebase โ Purpose: Backend database for storing onboarding responses and feedback. Data shared: All onboarding information listed above, associated with your RevenueCat user ID. Privacy policy
- PostHog โ Purpose: Product analytics and session recording. Data shared: Usage patterns, user interactions, session replays, device information. Privacy policy
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store โ Purpose: Payment processing for subscriptions. Data shared: Payment information, purchase history (handled directly by Apple/Google). Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy for information about how they handle your purchase data.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
